That is pretty awesome Ken!! is this being built with balsa wood? Back in the day my dad built balsa wood airplanes, I still have this one that he built back in the 70's

That's a great looking plane. It will be made of ply and cardboard (It's not going to be put on the water and I don't have any 6x1 wood strips so will be using cornflakes box for planking it.

Painted the inside with pva glue to help stiffen it all up before adding filler. Can anyone guess what this bit will become

Hi all well it's starting to look more like a ship, needs some more filling but definitely getting there. Someone suggested an upright boiler and seeing as how there is no room for stoking the boiler with it in place. I've decided to have a go at doing an upright boiler, I mean the chimney is not even on this boiler yet so if I added that there would be even less room.
