I finally got the engine done after running into unforeseen problems. First off, this is one the worst kits as far as fit is concerned that I've ever built. I only chose it this late because I thought it would be just a quick decent build, but no!! The headers for the V-6 non-gasser wouldn't allow the engine to fit flat in the engine bay, so I had to fab some. The indentations for the headers that do fit, were too low, so my headers sit a little low since I used the kit marks for my headers. Anyway, I've done a lot of sanding and filing and stuff so my updates should come more often. Thanks for looking.  |

Hey all, sorry about the dearth of updates, but I'm only now to the point where they would interest anyone. I got the body painted but the hood doesn't sit flat with the engine in so I may have to use a scoop on one of the other hoods. Curses! The interior is almost done except for some touch-ups. The exhaust below is mocked up because the front part is solder and I used JB to connect it to the hollowed-out muffler. and its still a bit tacky. I also have to touch up the paint a bit where the the tape pulled the paint away. I may have to settle for a black primed hood but I will be done by the deadline! Thanks for looking.    |

Got an early start this morning with finishing up the exhaust, and added the rear axle, so now I have a rolling chassis! I didn't like the kit hood scoop so I cut it off and grafted a shaker scoop from a Hemi Cuda kit, which I'm still working to get smooth. Here is a mock-up without the hood.  |
