Here is a rather simple way to widen a models fenders, like the one one the right side. Attachment Deleted Find a suitable body line, or create your own. Drill a small hole at each end. Use this to start cutting from. They also prevent the plastic from splitting past your desired end point. Attachment Deleted Connect the holes with a cutting line. I now prefer to use a piece of painters tape. Attachment Deleted

Cut along the line/tape with a razor saw or I prefer to use the back side of a #11 blade. Attachment Deleted Next insert pieces of scrap plastic or sprue the width you wish to widen the fender. Now you have several choices to fill the gap with. It is most important not to use something that will shrink. My favorite now is super glue covered with baking soda. Or use some brand of 2-part filler. My favorite is Evercoat. Attachment Deleted Sand to shape and your done.
