Sorry guys. Its been a helluva 2017. It was not a good year for me. I hung out at one model site and that was sporadic at best. Decided to take a step back and evaluate everything. Hoped you all would not mind if I get back to basics and start posting here again?
Came pretty close to dying last year. Had a couple of very bad health scares. Ended up getting admitted to the hospital twice last year. Once was for extreme High blood pressure. I've always run on the high side but this was a bit more than I ever did. Numbers like 175 over 115 and a little less were happening. That was quickly squashed and now them numbers are more like 103 over 65. That was one, the next was ending up almost having a stroke according to the doctors. My blood sugar was at 612. Got that under control too. Now readings are more like 110 to 135. Biggest problems was a total knee replacement back in 2015 that I am still not recovered from. There have been complications, biggest being the leg they replaced the knee on is 7/8ths of an inch longer than the other leg. This has played hell with my right hip and lower back and screwed me up pretty bad. One good thing out of this was the revision surgeon who wants to cut me open again and relieve much pain and lack of movement in this fake knee was not happy when he found out was close to 400 pounds and noted he wanted weight off of me. Since September I have been on a medical diet and shed over 70 pounds. Now i'm close to crossing the line from the 300s to the 200s. Have a ways to go but feeling much better. Lost family in 2017 too. It was just a crummy year. Hoping 2018 will be better. Anyhow that is my story and I am sticking to it. Be seeing you guys on the site.
