Not trying to copy you CustomMuscle, but I too am building Milners coupe. These are the only pictures I have of the mock up before I started the build. I will get back to working on this one after I finish my Nov. MOTM entry. AK

Heres a few more of my replica Milners coupe!

Chopped top approx 3 scale inches. Chopped the radator approx 6 scale inches. Bobbed the rear fenders and removed the gas tank then filled the hole. Oh, also found a set of suitable rims and tires! AK

Thanks guys! plug wires are routed and the chassis is done except the rear shocks (haven't painted them yet). I'm still sanding on the body where I chopped the top (my first one) AK

okay, Here's the completed chassis and interior. I found a fender in my stash that I can cut down and make both front fenders from. I just need to fab the support braces. Then the only thing left is body paint and final assy and details! YEAH!

Here's a few things to note in these pictures. The exhaust pipes are attached the the header flanges just like John Milners car did in the movie. The kit that provided the headers (revell rat roadster) had the exhaust pipes coming out of the side of the collector. So I cut the kits exhaust pipes just ahead of the mufflers and bent plastic tubing to connect them to the header flanges. Also John's car didn't have disc brakes so I axed the disc brake detail and added drum brakes to the front axle. Also the shifter knob is a small piston. Remember Milne gives Carol this knob when he drops her off at her house.
