The chassis looks blue but its actually Testors Aztek Purple Pearl.

This is all looking very cool Steve!! The motor looks top notch, but . . . you do know that is a old flathead motor, right!?! Not trying to be a jerk or anything!! The distributor is right on the front of the motor molded in on that kit. I can't wait to see this one progress here, the color is very nice. So much better than red or pink!!

Nice color choice for this one Steve. Wood color on the bottom looks very good and if you can a slight wash will really bring out detail in the wood grain. I'm a bit surprised at a flathead motor for this kit but your build up of it looks great man.
