The nurses all gathered around ...Okay I was planning to use the hemi heads and intake from amt's 57 Chrysler 300 kit, but upon rewatching the movie realised that Christine had a wedge engine with dual fours. I did use the intake carbs and parts of the aircleaner from the Chrysler kit.

and they gazed in wide wonder, at the joy they found...Interior builds up real nice, but the rear seat needs trimming to sit lower or the package shelf will end up mid way in the rear glass.

Head nurse spoke up, said leave this one alone....The chassis also builds up nice, but fit wasn't as good as I would expect from a kit from the mid 90's I had to trim the torsion bars a bit and they mount below the cross member because the exhaust has to go between the frame and floor boards. I'm not sure if that is how the 1:1 car's exhaust is routed, but thats the only way it fits on the model.

She could tell right away, That I was bad to the bone. Body turned out real nice. Testers red over white primer, and a mix of gloss white and steel for the trim down the side. I did clear coat it after appling the bare metal foil.

It's not that Christine is a bad car, she's just,...you know,...misunderstood. You've got to respect a car that takes care of herself too, you know? Looking great AK. One of my favorite movies and movie cars.

Lookn' spooky cool AK. I see you had to relocate the battery to the trunk too. I think that's why the 9 volt systems fell to the favor of the 6 and 12 volt. Battery just to big to share the engine bay. )

This is my first venture into working lights. At first I tried running the fiber optic cables to the trunk and using one led to light all the lights but it was difficult routing the cables. so now it has two leds with short fiber optic cables all mounted above the front tires. I could have used two double a batteries but would have had to buy a separate battery holder and I didn't think I had enough room in the trunk for that. AK

I'm doing the same kit but for the dual carb / air cleaner setup I found someone on eBay selling the conversion kit for $ 3.50. Much cheaper and easier to find than the old Chrysler kit to rob the parts from...
