Hey gang, GB has had me working the model of the month contest and we are getting to the point in the year where I need to come up with themes for next year. I need some input! My goals are increased participation and variety. I'm asking you guys to throw some ideas for themes out there. Let me know what you would like to build. If there is a theme we haven't done yet toss it out there, that is where the variety comes into play. So take a look at your kits and think about suggestions for themes.

Here's a few ideas,
Sister cars. Cuda / Challenger, Mustang / Cougar, Nova / Ventura. I think you get the picture.
Worst glue bomb resto,
4 doors and more doors,
Gassers,
2wd Custom Trucks,
Pro Street /Pro Mod,
Resto Mods,
Cars or trucks never made, Cuda 4 door, cars made into El Caminos, pickups made into extra cabs, club cabs, and extra cabs made into single cabs,
Multi engine cars and trucks.
That's some of my ideas.

late as usual, you guys took all the good ones... truck/tracker pullers less than 8 cylinders pure plastic (no resin, photo etched, etc, etc....) 1968 (50th year anniversary of  ) a Nascar that was never a kit (uugh... not a fan of Nascar but would be interesting) that's it for now, I will have to sleep on it some more. |

Motorcycles, any race car, monster trucks, dare to be different ( cars not often seen built a certain way, ie Pro Street VW or a custom Roadrunner )

road runner anything!!! I'm always up for that!! here is a fairly common one, but I have never built on and that is a lead sled. I think every month should be pro street month, just change the make of the car every time.... yea, I'll shut up now.

Camaro, Firebird can be built too, I think you get it. The kicker is you decide. Stock, custom, hot rod, etc. |

How about building a copy of a vehicle you own in model form? Included in the poses needed on the model can be 4 of the real car that was copied? This would be fun for everyone and there will be a wide range of models.

Chas, I have never built a model of my own cars. most of the 1:1 cars I have had, they don't make models of, but I could come up with a few I guess.
