Hey gang! Another month has passed us by this summer so you know what that means, Model of The Month time! This month we showcased tuners. These cars really first hit the scene in the US in the 90s. I personally first found out about this style of car from the Fast and Furious movie franchise. Tuners typically had big body kits, big turbos, small cubic inches (or litres) but BIG power! This month we had an entrant in our contest but only one. So we will not have a vote but I am happy to announce GrandpaBeast as our winner with his Wicked Eclipse! It's a good thing that's the only entrant because I sure as hell couldn't stack anything I've got up against that!!!! Superb modeling in the ways of detail and paint. Congratulations GPB!!! You sir.......................are da man!!!
Thank you JKFlash , it's a hollow victory but I will take it. My first win of the year I do believe. Reminder to all who have won in 2017 to replace their pictures in the winners thread as we will need them for the end of year contests.
Mustang , that's pretty big praise, I thank you sir. That's why we do it is to hear from great modelers such as yourself that we did a great job. No doubt it would have been close if others had entered. I hope to get a truck started but I'm so into the big scale build I'm not sure I can do it in a month.
