I would hold any assumptions till something shakes out. if he is a regular at the meetings and doesn't have a history of not replying to people, I would think something is array. hope everything turns out OK for both parties.

Haha, was re reading this post and the same guy stiffed me on a buy deal in a 4 car purchase. It began in November. The guy strung me along until after Christmas. I was to go to his house and pick them up. Everything was set. He cancelled telling me was not feeling well but that cars are mine. I offered to Paypal him the money. He said not to worry. I can get them at the next meeting. About a week ago I contacted him and said I was in the neighborhood and could swing by and get them. Said he was there but busy and he would call me later. Said he had something to talk to me about. Knowing this was not going to be a pleasant call I waited for it. He did call. Said he sold all 4 cars to somebody else as he needed the money. You could have heard a pin drop as I did not reply right away. When I did he did not get the response he was expecting. I calmly told him it was just models, no big thing. No money or models changed hands. Nobody is out anything. The guy I could tell by his tone was stunned. He then said he had some others that I could buy off him. I then said no thanks. Him and I would never deal in models again after this. Then he started back peddling and giving me nonsense and I could tell he was not happy. I told him I have no time for stuff like this. I can find models elsewhere. Now he is not talking to me anymore. Guess that is the way things go LOL. The meeting is tomorrow night. This ought to be interesting?

I cannot even imagine the awkward moment when we meet up. I will be the bigger guy and say nothing. It's not anybody's fault at the club and not right to bring this drama into the meeting. BUT....That Peckerwood will get my message loud and clear and I wont say a word. By the way. The models were built ups he had for me. 2 65 Cuda's, 1 66 Cuda, and 1 68 Cuda, oh and I forgot the 72 AMX parts car. Life goes on but I live on a 3 strike policy. In this case two was enough. Not going to wait for number 3. I am just moving on. Too much drama for this old geez.
