Well AK I can see why no one else showed, this car is the bomb !! With its ( I wish ) DOHC engine , perfect color, great choice of rims, mean stance and all the little details, without a doubt it was the car to beat. Great job buddy. Saddly single car wins mean no prize, but you are in the show for MOTY. Okay here's my completed 68 dohc hemi road runner. The dohc hemi was actually an experamental engine being designed in response to Fords 427 sohc engine for nascar. Once nascar ruled that nascars had to be powered by regular production engines ( which the hemi was NOT at the time) thier was no need to continue with the project. This is a "what if" car...If the project was finished and the dohc hemi became avaliable to the public along side of the standard hemi! In 1968 the road runner debuted with a 383 magnum engine as base engine with the 426 hemi as the only other option. In this alternate world where the dohc hemi became a production engine the road runner could be had with either the normal single cam engine or the more powerful higher reving 426 dohc hemi! front side

I am going to look for the DEEEEEEP cragars though. they are nice. there is a lot of good parts in those show rod kits. they used to be cheap, now they are collector items... just like every other kit out there.
thanks for showing and congrats on a great build.
