Hey David.
I hope this finds you and your family in good health. I see you log on from time to time so it looks like you're hanging in there.
I just wanted to let you know that I am going to be stepping down as admin this weekend. It has become a lot of work for me to run this place by myself. Lots of folks keep asking me what's going to happen. I was going to wait until the end of the year but frankly, I don't think it's worth my time here anymore. I don't completely understand why you wouldn't transfer ownership of the forum to me to be able to keep this place going....and no need to explain, but I do feel like I got the short end of the stick here. You just bailing out pissed off quite a few members, including myself. I'm over it, but it was a raw move.
A few of the guys and I are going to setup up another forum where the workload will be shared. Feel free to come by and hangout if you'd like.

well sir actually my father passed away tuesday morning but thats no one concern.
Yes just like I said I would I stopped in from time to time because this is my baby and you all are still my friends. As far as signing it over to you , I told you my intent was to some day turn it over to my grandson. As far as adding admin or changing anything I must have missed those messages asking me to do that. I would have gladly added who ever you wanted, it was your ship to run. It is sad that its not worth your time.
As for the "raw deal" , "the short end of the stick" and "pissing people of" that makes me laugh. 1. You come to me talking about how DeeCee had formed a click group and they were throwing their weight around, trying to make more work for you and complaining that you werent doing things fast enough and you threatened to leave. So I wrote a thread telling everyone to back off and that we do all we can do ( supporting you ) and you turn around and throw me under the bus, first saying that was a privet message then telling everyone you wanted more contests? Un believable ! 2. With the voting , it was never about changing anyones mind but trying to show them how details were being over looked and if we all used the same method of voting that maybe that would help , but you and most of the rest swore that the voting wouldnt change and that I was wasting my time. Well you are right you cant show somebody something if they wont open their eyes.
So good luck to you and your crew. Jerrys Cherrys will always be here. Things will change but it will always be here.

It's all good i like everyone that i have met here and also the guys that went there so i personally will be on both. I understand people have differences things happen but like i sayed i'll hang around both. Good luck to all involved. Both sides of the issue. Thats my story and im sticking to it. Rocky

i know you have had a ruff go of it lately gb but im going to partipate in both clubs your my neighbor and i love jerrys cherrys hope im not stepping on toes here but the builds are what keeps me here so im wishing everyone happy builds (2 clubs is fine more builds to look at )

I'll be on both forums too. I have not had any problems with any of the people on this forum. It seems like we all had a lot of fun. I'll try to do a couple of builds for each site this year. I am taking care of my Mother full time, so building has been on the back burner for a few years. I still might be able to get one or two done.
I am very sorry to hear about your Father. I lost my Father in 2005, and I still remember him fondly on a daily basis. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.
