Good to keep them for parts, no doubt. But I must say, seeing your fine work, in a tub, covered up is a bit dis-heartening. Your work is so very inspiring to me and many others here I am sure.
But, to see this put away like this, it kind of makes me wonder just what exactly am I doing? It's like these pictures are an epiphany of sorts, a wake up call if you will. Here I am, going on 52, and my hobby is plastic toys? May just have to have a talk with myself one of these days........
Ken, I hope this stepping back and taking a breather, a refresher for something new helps.
But know this..... Your work, your building, the detailing, the weathering, that is all a skill learned over time. A skill that you have mastered wonderfully.
So, when you are ready, we will also be ready to be amazed by your awe inspiring work my friend.

No you misunderstood me mate I've not given up, far from it but I have run out of room, especially as I'm intending the biggest and most ambitious diorama I've ever undertaken, my London dio will be huge, I'm still somewhat daunted by the idea (mainly as I've got so many ideas going round in my head I'm not sure where it will stop)

Whew! That's a relief!! It sure sounded like you were cashing in but now I understand. That huge Dio of London that will be so cool. And for sure, I bet you will need all the room you can get. Do what I do when you have so many ideas, keep a note pad handy somewhere, and when you get an idea, write it down. Since I have started this, I tend to not forget things.
