Hey all, I haven't posted in quite some time. So I thought I'd make a return... This is my finished Revell '70 Dodge Challenger 2'n'1 kit. It's my favorite car in my favorite model year, and I made it my favorite color. Yes, it is highly customized. First off, I used 2 Lego pieces to mount the rear axle. They are each basically a stick that extends into 2 holes, and I put the axle through the 2nd hole. It's pretty hard to explain, but anyway, on to the axle itself. It isn't technically a real axle. It was a plastic rod from some part, I forget what kind of part, but anyway, I cut it down some and then glued the rear wheels on the ends of what is now the "axle". So then I drilled 2 holes for the stick parts of the 2 lego pieces to go through, glued those in, and then the rear part was done. I hope I explained this part well enough. So then I added nitrous tank (which I painted blue) to the interior. I also made the shifter, steering wheel, and all pedals silver. I think the silver look of the main controls looks kind of cool. And that's just about it! I might use this car sometime in the future in an episode of my YouTube series. That series is basically a bunch of Fast & Furious-inspired stop-motion videos, where I use diecast, and soon plastic model cars in races, chases, etc. But anyway sorry about getting off-topic there, hope you enjoyed reading/looking at this post!
