That does look cool, but I still use the good old fashioned Testors glue. But if I ever graduate to (CA glue - whatever that stuff is), I just may have to get me some of these.
Thanks for the posting Sid!!

CA is (ahem) cyanoacrylate. AKA super glue. Just ordered the gizmo from Megahobby.com...they had the best price. Once I have a chance to try it out I'll post my comments here. Hope it works...I need all the help I can get.

Oh I know...but I don't know the difference. Maybe the consistency? I'm sure the looper works with both.

I personally don't care for the blue glue it doesn't seem to work as well as the red glue. But the blue glue dose smell a hole lot better lol for whatever reason

For the price, I just use different size sowing needles, the eye, get about 5-10 at walmart, to clean, just use a wire brush, and to hold'em I use dollar store mechanical pencil eraser

I've had a chance to try this out, and it works just like I was hoping it would...same as the "Touch-And-Flo" applicator for solvent glues. Instead of applying glue to the parts and then joining, you join the parts and then touch the Glue Looper to the join, and the CA flows into the gap between the parts. No more smearing glue all over the place while trying to position the parts together. You get three sizes of the Glue Looper for applying small, medium and large amounts of glue. Me like. There's also a version of the Glue Looper that works with the thick varieties of CA. The thick CA does not flow like the thin stuff, so you can't join parts and then apply the glue. Applying thick CA with the Glue Looper is much like applying it with a toothpick, but you have more control over amount and placement with the Glue Looper.
