Not making any excuses, (although I kind of am), the MAIN reason for my slacking off at the bench these past few months, was the countdown to, as I like to call it, "The Wedding"
It was expensive, very hard to do and set up nearly a 1000 miles away, but we pulled it off. About the only thing that went wrong was my daughter Barbara misplaced her vows, BUT, luckily, Tia - my other daughter - had a picture of them on her phone!

Just a few snapshots from my daughter's wedding.....
The Bride - my oldest daughter, Barbara
I must admit, Daric is an awesome Son-In-Law! A former Marine - served in Fallujah a few years back as an E.O.D. He does have a touch of PTSD, but most of those guys coming home do. He is an honest man, works hard, and definitely spoils my daughter and takes great care of the kids
The Bride and Groom - Barbara and Daric
My daughters together, Barbara and Tia
And the best moment, at least for me, the Father and Daughter dance. The winery did not have the candles lit, but we persevered on! Lol

Thanks guys - it turned out to be a really nice wedding for her. She is such a great kid, oh sure, my wallet hurts a bit, but my pride went off the charts!

Appreciate it Mike - it was indeed a superb day for them - good kids, they deserved it. The Jamaica honeymoon they REALLY enjoyed. We did the Jamaica thing ourselves years back, so I thought that was the perfect touch for them. A lot more expensive than when we went, but oh well, you only get to do this once for your daughter's.
I told her, jokingly, if she ever gets divorced and married a second time - that one's on her!
Next time I pay for an all inclusive Jamaica get away - it's OUR turn, Lol
