Busted butt for a pool in the back yard - Lol Its a little 15 footer, but it will work for this year for the misses and myself. snooping around and just saw this. nice little investment. really nice on those hot days. we have a string of 90 degree days coming this week with Friday topping out at around 95.
enjoy!!!
not to steal your thread, but we just invested $1,300 in liner, water and installation because of a $10 thermometer. long expensive story I won't bother you with here, maybe in another post.

Seriously? 1300 because of a simple thermometer?
Oh man - and we are thinking to do the in-ground kind in a couple years - GULP!!

inground is cool, but lots of maintenance and cash!! for half the cost you can do a nice 18' above ground and tie that in with a hot tub. year round entertainment. yep 1300 clams baby ($400 for the liner, $450 install and $450 for water. the wife didn't want to fill it ourselves because we have a 16 year old well and we knew the pump would go out on us. our luck). gets me sick!! here is what it looked like.

it looked like that all the way around. when they took the old liner out, put the new one in and we filled it, all the dimples disappeared. we are back to normal.... except the bank account.
anyways, go enjoy yours. it's hot outside. we are over 105 with the heat index. suppose to be this way for a while. hope I didn't hijack your thread.

We looked at one of these, at least one like it. Then we decided on this smaller one, to learn the ropes if you will. Kind of a bugger keeping the water just right, but you know it, it sure has been great to take a dip each evening. The hot tub thing we want to do as well, just wish we had a bigger lot. if we do get this one sold, we are going out farther from the city for sure!
