looking in converting a rat packer to standard wheelbase and I am looking for someone who has a Trumpeter 63 chevy II or any other chevy II that has a stock wheel base. I need the measurement from the rear of the front wheel opening to the front of the rear wheel well opening.... or.... the length of the rocker panel where the door is. hope I didn't confuse anyone.
thanks in advance. Tubbs

hey Tom, I have the rat packer. I am returning it to standard wheelbase(the rat packer is an altered wheelbase drag car). I need to know the rocker panel distance from the stock one, not the rat packer so I can get as close to stock as possible. really appreciate it. doesn't have to be dead nuts on either, just close, maybe to the nearest hundred thousandths...... kidding.

Thanks Paul - you are a real lifesaver bud smileyCASHS601_zps1c54a9c5
I clean spaced this out last night, was beat dead tired. My apologies Al....
I did not get home last night from work until nearly 8pm - that was a 14 day So far, looking like the same today - AND - I was just informed I need to work extra tomorrow as well.
Nothing like putting in close to 40 hours last week, (in just 3 days, Mon / Tues / Wed). Then driving after work until late Wednesday night. Got a crap ass motel and nap that night, then up again early Thursday and drive till Thursday afternoon. Got right after things Thursday night, running around, completing and setting up for the wedding, get through all that Friday and Saturday, only to take off early Sunday, drive all day again to visit her son, another crappy motel that night, then drive all day Monday to get home late -late Monday night. Then unpack, wash clothes, mow the yard, etc, etc Tuesday.
And this was me taking 6 days off for a mini vacation / break? smiley-confused005
And now that I am back, I will have put in nearly 50 hours in 4 days........
Sorry for venting..... between the heat and this old guy wearing down Oh well, glad you got the measurements Al smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f

vent all you want if it makes you feel better. look at it this way, it's a real problem to be born good looking instead of rich. so we have to work ungodly hours to make a few bucks, we sure look good doing it!! glad everything worked out for you on your "vacation".
thanks for your effort in getting me the measurements, I know your heart was in a good place.
