Hi guys, i know this is very off topic, but today was a rough day. I had to say goodbye to my dog Coco who i had for the last 11 years. He had a tumor in his ear canal for about 6 months and was beginning to be in pain and it was bleeding on and off the last couple of days. It was one of the hardest decision i had to make, but it was the best for him. Some people may say its just a dog, but it really isn't. They become part of the family. Its gonna take some time to get used to him not being around the house.

anyone that say's that's full of it our best friends and most loved in any family is a dog or cat jm i feel your pain but im sure theres a heaven and i bet coco's boucing around and he'll be waiting for a reunion someday lost a very pudgy mix once because someone couldnt tell the difference between a collored working farm dog and a feral anyway they shot him in the chest he ran home to me and dropped at my feet so anyone that ever says it's just a animal has never known what a true and loyal friend is human or other sorry didnt mean to ramble or make it worse just remember he's gonna be watching over you

Fine looking animal. I have been through this before so I know how much you will miss him and he will always be there with you the rest of your life. You will think about him often. My boy Jack is getting on in years now and I have been thinking about going through this with him. I don't want to. He knew he was loved and you gave him a good life. It meant a lot to you and him.

Thoughts go out to you JM - a pet is indeed a member of the family. I know it is hard, but you did the right thing. We care for our pets, so when the time comes that we can no longer give them a pain free life, then it is our duty to let them go, so they are not in pain anymore. We had to do this for our Sage a few years back, and just last year I had to let my gravy cat go.
They will always be in our hearts and memories, always know your Coco is no longer in pain, and enjoying the good life now.
And hey, Coco - say hi to Sage for me!!
