When I was in high school I bought a 69 charger and had it painted like the General. I guess I just haven't grown up!

A friend of mine in Virginia Beach Va. has one of the original cars (with papers) He actually let me drive it around the track at Langley speed way during one of our car shows! Thanks K.W., it was cool of you to let me drive your car! AK

Thanks Mike0157. I've built numerous General Lee models over the years! The first 1:1 car I bought as a kid was a 69 Charger and I dropped a 440 in it and painted it up like the General! It wasn't really all that fast (plenty for a stupid teenager) but everybody around town thought it was! I just didn't race anyone with it and them think what they wanted! LOL, years later I found out the word on the street was it had a Hemi in it!

AK I *LOVE* this build! I've always wanted to see someone do the General Lee, and you pulled it off masterfully. Question: Are the tires and wheels stock items? They look sharp!

Thanks schwack! The rim and tires are from the General Lee kit. I detail painted them with black and silver to make them look more realistic. AK
