Yesterday was a bit bitter sweet as we watched a piece of playground equipment put in place at a small farming communities city park.
As many here remember we lost a grandson last year to a swimming pool accident.
The small town where he lived has honored him while rehabbing the city park. Everyone in town knew Isaac, he was just that kind of kid even thogh he had not quite reached 4 years of age.(one month short)
They had a big fund raiser organized by a hardware store owner and the city council to get a piece of playground equipment that best honors his memory and his love of trains. Even the Canadian National RR donated! The company that makes the piece even gave them a discount!
It is one of only three made one of which was sent somewhere over seas.
It will be dubbed "The Isaac Express".
