I made it black like the '70 383 R.R. I bought after high school.

Thanx! Those are the actual stock tires from the AMT kit (white lettering one side and Redline on the other) and a little Armor All helped! I'll post the rest of 'em now that I finally figured out Photobucket. Starting on a '71 GTX next! Thanks again! ---are these pics too big? I wasn't sure about guidelines

Very nice. A couple of notes for a stock build, the valve covers on a stock hemi are flat black, and the air cleaner, like the engine block, is hemi orange. Also, the decal you have on the air cleaner is for the earlier round style hemi air cleaner. I have a spare pancake aircleaner decal I can send you.

Thanks everyone! This is the AMT-821/12 kit and it has a custom option also (cross-ram intake, cut-out hood, wheels, etc...) Yeah, I forgot about the black valve covers until it was done. I have 2 '68 Chargers with correct air cleaners, but they are Revell-Monogram. Oh well.. I was going a little too fast on some of my kits and missed some things I should have caught. Live & learn I guess. I'm just getting back into modelling after 30 some years, so I'm kinda learning more each time. Bing Images helps quite a bit. Thanks again!
