Now that i am in a happy place with the progress on the Anniversary build, i thought i have enough time to smash out a quick Hot rod build for this month. I started with the Monogram 40 ' kit last night.  Got an hour at the bench, a bit of time in the paint room before it got dark, playing catch up now that's for sure.   This will be prett basic build for a nice change, just a change of wheels, and a little bit of lowering.. |

Good start! I like the color you used for the chassis. Is that the same as you're going to use on the body?

Alan, yes mate, this will be the body color with some silver and chrome, also white interior.

Nice work Dale! At first I was like " what the hell are spats?" then realised they're fender skirts lol. Its gonna take a lot of hacking to get her that low!

It's funny how we all speak the same language, yet it can be soooo different..  And i do try to Americanize most things like the hood, trunk etc... but i just never know.. thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon Well, i got some paint on it over the week-end, just need to foil it now..    |
