I want to build something a little easier before I start another complicated and detailed build so I am going to build this '29 Roadster with this Ardun engine setup. I hope it works out well.

Here a couple of pictures of the main color. Freshly painted and not rubbed out yet. Color is Dupli-Color Maui Blue Metallic. Interior will be trimmed in silver. Engine block will be the same color. Hopefully my finished pictures will be better and you can see the true color. It is very pretty.

Looking forward to more Dennis, particularly when you do the engine, I always look forward to them The engine is going to be a little tricky Les. I have a beautiful very detailed blower from Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland but it looks a little small to me. I have two more on order from Competition Resins, a 1/24th & 1/25th, I'll pick the best from those and go from there.

I already had the Ardun setup from Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland but I thought the blower was a little small so I ordered another blower and heads from Competition Resins which is a little bigger. I'm going to use the setup from R & M after all because the detail is just too good not too. The blower & head on the right is from CR and the blower and head on the left is from R & M. The R & M setup also comes with all the pulley's, manifold, belt material and other bells and whistles. Look at the detail in this blower and you can see why I want to use it. The ribs are so clean and crisp and all the bolt heads are clearly defined even on the little pulley's. The heads on the right are from CR and R & M on the left. The ARDUN print on the R & M heads can be easily read. I'm not knocking CR's parts. I use a lot of CR's parts and like them. It's just hard to beat the parts from R & M. Should look like this {without the heads} if I can get it together. Going to be a PIA I think. Should be nice if I can do it the way I have it in my head.

I agree with you on the detail, Dennis. I have the RM engine and it looks great. I haven't decided what to use it on. I'm going to have to take some notes on yours. Can't wait to see it done.

I agree with you on the detail, Dennis. I have the RM engine and it looks great. I haven't decided what to use it on. I'm going to have to take some notes on yours. Can't wait to see it done. When Norm decided to go in to the resin making business the first thing he made was a 12 cyl Ferrari engine that was so well done it made it into the model magazines right off and he was on his way. I saw a picture of it a few years ago and asked him to make me one and he did. It cost me $90.00 then but you ought to see the thing. It is a magnificent piece of work. I will try to ge you pictures of the parts if you want to see them. He even included tiny brass tubing for venturis in the weber carbs and tiny nubs in the carbs to stick the venturis on! How the hell he did that is beyond me.

I believe it. I would love to see pics. The stuff he makes that are complete kits, like the engines he has are very detailed. Best caster for engine parts, bar none and Modelhaus is best for bodies. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. lol
I bet that Ferrari engine is insanely detailed.

Going to be a little while on this I think. They are remodeling my house and of course my modeling area is down for now. Good news is we are having a large enclosed deck built where I can get my new air brush out and work with it. Looking forward to that! I appreciate your comments and your patience folks.
