excellent work! Don't beat yourself up over stacks not sitting right. If I had a nickel for every air cleaner, supercharger, or velocity stack I got on there crooked I could buy any model I have ever wanted! Great job, very clean build.

Nice. We used to jack them all up like that in the old days.

Very nice tidy Mustang mate, and a great clean job on the BMF too. smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f

Thanks, Dale. The trim is painted on. The only BMF I used was for patching the chrome where it was cut from the sprue or got damaged some other way. Doing the trim is my least favorite part of the process, and BMF was just too frustrating for me to work with. smiley-confused005

I have yet to experiment with BMF and I paint my trim as well. Sometimes the hand stays steady, sometimes I need a barley soda to calm the nerves.

Bmf is far easier than painting. If your hand is steady enough to do clean paint, you can easily do foil!

Paint and BMF behave very differently. Different strokes for different folks, as they say. I'll probably give BMF another try sometime. For painting trim, I mask as much as possible and use brushes size 18/0 and 30/0. Those are the smallest I could find. And one of those magnifying headsets, which I fondly refer to as my Nerd Hat.

I find those too blunt for precise painting, but I use them for applying glue and other things. Here's one of the 18/0 detail brushes I use. I also have some that are a bit longer but more pointed.

Nice job on your Mustang Sidney. I like the color and the stance is the way I like them. Nice work on the engine wiring as well. I know those little MCG wire looms can be a nightmare to deal with. Especially with my big fat fingers. I use BMF these days, but when I painted them in the past I would use a chrome paint marker from Tamiya. It worked well and was easy to keep steady with my shaky hands. Rob

Nice work Sid. Very clean and nice detail work. Really like the engine work. What paint did you use for your trim?
