Ok, my hot rod build actually started with an engine I got from Iceman (Thanks Joel! high-five-smiley-emoticon ) but I'll reveal that later. I decided to install it in this 29!  |

I've read some reviews on this kit on line. It comes with two floor pans: first one is for the low boy (channeled over the 29 frame), and the second one for the high boy version ( using a 32 frame) everyone is complaining the the floor for the hogh boy doesn't fit correctly. I read somewhere ( I think from Revell) that the kit should have only included one floor pan for both versions. I've had no issues with the mock up Im doing so I guess I happened to ue the correct pan, but if you build this kit and are having fit issues, try switching floor pans.

Heres the body. It has a couple of coats of metallic black then 3 clear coats. I lightly wet sanded after the color coats, and then again just before the final clear coat.  The interior is about 95% complete. It has to be assembled inside the body and I plan to get it done tomorrow. If so I'll post a picture of it tomorrow night. |
