Just found out that italeri are doing a re-release of the esci ford transit this year. Still waiting on them to release the old fergie tractor but the transit is one of my grail kits, only I cant justify $150 for an original or $80 for a built up. Looks like I'll be getting at least 3 of them so I can build my race team and a transit supervan2, which was basicly a gt40 race car under a van shell

I remember that Supervan, pretty cool, bit like the Renault Espace, which was an F1 based people mover.. Both would be pretty cool to build i think.

gran tourismo 2 by any chance? I was one of the lucky folk that got to test the euro version of it, and they gave me a free net yaroze playstation that was online capable, and paid my phone bill for it. The free games were just a bonus after all that

YEP. Sounds like you got a good deal there mate, I sat on that game for so long, and just loved using the E'space, it would beat everything. I saw the Transit on Top Gear a couple of times though.

Only the mk2 transit has been made as a kit mate, and the supervan 3 is just the mk2 with a fibreglass front on it. and a mondeo/contour v6 in it. They ditched the v8

number 2 is the one i'm thinkin of...got a matchbox of it around here somewhere I have the same one, mines lived through my childhood, numerous poor paintjobs(I was a kid and used whatever paint I had) but I still have it, though now it has no paint and the windows are trashed but I'm keeping it no matter how bad it gets. It was the first toy I saved up for when I was a wee kid

That matchbox toy is why the esci transit is my holy grail kit, I need it in 1/24 scale but mine will be black and a-team style. I always wanted an a team transit and at least 3 of my poor attempts were that way
