After I finish my 55 Chevy from American Graffiti, I may use my other AMT 55 sedan kit to build the two laner blacktop car. Does anyone know where I might find the proper wheels for this project? Thanks AKAttachment Deleted

Check out the torque wheel contest and look at the resin wheels everyone is using. Are the spokes too thin or would those work?

Thanks Warmachine! I do recall now that the 1/24 scale Monogram 57 Chevy kit did indeed have the correct wheels! I'll keep an eye out for a set and hope they don't look too big. As for the 55 Nomad, I believe those wheels were similar, but different. Hey Iceman, I checked the wheel contest as you suggested, unfortunately these wheels are different also. But thanks for the reply! AK

no the wheels in the 57 nomad kit are torque thrusts and the wheels you want are american racing wheels daisy's you can get them on ebay from annalit or casey as he is better known he does them in 1/25th and 1/16th

I have two from ebay that are really deep and unplated. I know I've seen a kit with the perfect rims in it, but can't rememberf what it was. Do you know where I can find them? AK

Hang tight on buying a kit. Let me check my chrome parts to see if I have these for you. Are you in a hurry to get them?
