I really like to find stories like this. They are great to read and hear that people still have an interest in this type of info. Maybe with enough of these more of the old things will reappear. Old molds etc. you never know what may happen in the future. Thanks for the great find.

I agree excrewchief, I found it a fascinating read as well. Loved the whole bit about AMT back then, and how Johan had better quality. And how the lady from a line worker became the head over see-er for quality. Cars back then were such the thing, and to know this line actually came from working direct with the dealers, makes me appreciate them even more. NOW, ifI could just and afford some of those original Johan kits!!!
