This is a build i have been wanting to do for a long long time. I acquired the trailer many years ago, and wanted to do a race trailer. A few years ago i brought a couple of these Mopar Dragster kits. I wanted something to haul it all with, but something different. ( not a truck ). I picked up this Escalade kit cheap, and scored 2 of the 300C kits very cheep because someone had stolen the wheels from them. Now, as i want a Mopar theme, i am going to use the Escalade body, with a mopar 300C front on it,. I also need to lengthen the front section of the trailer by about 1", to fit the completed rail in, also need to raise the rear to accommodate the rear wing. This will be a year long build i think, something to go to between MOTM build themes. This is only a plan, some aspecs may change through the course of the build.

Thank's for the interest guys, so i better give you something interesting to keep you interested.... thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon smiley-scared002 As the dragster wing is way too tall to fit in the trailer, i thought why not try something different, so i found a 1/32 scale Kenworth in the spares box, so lopped off the top of the roof and sleeper, and a few lengths of styrene to try help it all flow.... maybe.... The idea: Cut a hole: Progress: Now, while that was drying, i took to the Escalade and 300C with the blade..... I think i got some of Beasts kits, his seem to blow apart too..... smiley-scared002 Should work: More to come soon guys.

Thank's for following buddy, well, it's no longer an Escalade, it's a C-scalade... Need to do a bit more work on the scuttle panel, so the hood and windscreen line up.

Hmmmm.... thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon
For that scuttle panel, some wild, curvey flame type ends going up the a pillar would be wild! Just a thought, I know I have weird thoughts though - LOL

Thanks for the interest bud, love your new avatar too.

No beer yet - but I have found out that a lack of sleep is about as good as a 12 pack! Ha!

The front was not aggressive enough, or low enough, so i have grafted the front spoiler from an old Lumina nascar, just to add another brand to this build..

Thanks Joel , Les and Tom, thanks for the following, well i got the chrysler scuttle panel blended in, and am now trying to make it look less like an Escalade, so i have sanded off some of the body lines and filled a little too take away the sharpness of the Escalade lines. I think it needs a bit of trim down the side , just to break up the slab sides.. ?/ thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon It sits nice now too..

You know, you may be onto something here Dale. Instead of a regular pick up to haul around the driver before each race - for waving a the crowds. Now, they could each have their very own 33 Calade, with their unique paint colors take them around the track!! With that NASCAR front end and all!

Thanks boys, , well, while the putty etc settles on the tow vehicle, i went to work on the doors on the rear of the trailer. Getting the hinge to work properly took some time, but she's done, just need to strengthen up the tailgate a bit now.

Thank's men, i'm a bit slow on this one, it's too bl@@dy hot to do anything, but i managed to alter the other end of the trailer. Needs a lot of tidy up now, and to manufacture a goose neck tow hitch for it now..

Thanks Tom, Thanks D, appreciate you guys following along. Not a lot went down this week-end, as the Bathurst 12 hour motor race was on, but i got a little bit of fiddling done. I tidied up the nose extension, and carved out a Mopar emblem for the tailgate, just so everybody knows what they are following..

That looks awesome. Am I seeing some purple in your future? HAH.. no purple on this build, it will have the old school Mopar colors, black, white and those orange/yellow/blue stripes mate, but who knows what will land on the next build.. Thanks too Joel

Sorry for the late reply mate, but i only looked here tonight as i was about to update it a little. Tom, i just drew it, but i did use a glass to get the rounded bits ... well... round... I pulled this out of the box on the week end, and made some lower sides for the trailer.
