I never knew he had cancer either. Shoot, he just released an album last week. Sad for sure, he was a bit on the weird side of things for me, but a legend from back in the days no doubt.

Tho I wasn't a big fan, his rise from "working class" Brixton area to one of the main people of music, style and movies says a lot. He was fearless in trying new projects. Passing at 69, he will nevertheless always be a very cool star.
