Lemmy from motorhead passed away from cancer this morning at 70 years of age. I find it difficult to believe a large number of my friends saw him perform live in august, and there was no hint at his being near death. Rock n Roll just took over heaven and threw the commandments out

Yes, another loss to the world of rock, but i suppose they are ALL getting on a fair bit, if it wasn't the big C, it would have been old age soon.
Makes you wonder why there is only a stairway to heaven, when there is a highway the other way..... thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon

I seen Motorhead twice as a young man here in the states. Lemmy was such a showman. I for one, will forever continue his tradition of flashing the bird to all - he was one of a kind, he contributed so much more than most realize to the rock and roll world. He will truly be mised, may he always be remembered in the hearts of many R.I.P. Lemmy.....    |
