Wow!! cant-believe-my-eyes-smiley-emoticon
Another cool ass stock build man!! I especially love the details in the trunk with the spare. Super clean build bud, definitely takes me back to days when I was a kid - you seen these rides everywhere back home, and in that color combo as well!! Awesome job!!!

Very cool build! I've always heard conflicting things about Trumpeter kits, what did you think of this one and how it went together?

Trumpeter's kits are not shake and bake, plus in most of them there are accuracy issues, as well as parts that should be plated not being and vice versa. It is a bit inexcusable considering their cost.

Good to know, thanks! I've been eyeing their falcon kits, just don't think I can justify it with the cost and the problems I've read about them.

Imntbho, the Falcon has sides too straight, and the chassis is mildly tubbed so it cannot be built 100% stock. The Ranchero has the same troubles.

Yeah the cost on this kit is always pretty high. The only reason they get away with it is because they're the only news, I believe, with this model.
I'm not familiar with the stock look, but even with those inaccuracies, you make it look like a great kit

I like the paint work and the engine is very nice. You made a good model from this kit.
I have heard different things pro and con on Trumpeter kits. I have the '60 Pontiac in conv. and hardtop and they are superb kits. Beautiful chrome and all the trim, wiring etc. about 300 parts. Great detail but I understand later car kits by Trumpeter were not as good. I haven't heard any bad reviews on the Pontiac kits but I have about later kits so I didn't buy any. Just my 2 cents.

That is a very nice tidy build mate, love that 6 cyl, and it's good to see one of these NOT hot-rodded. ( that's unusual coming from me. )..
