Thank Jesse. I found some rally clear pics that will help. I'm going to go back to change it. Hopefully this weekend.
So quick question so I'm clear. I can do all six fuel lines into one fuel block and then to the fuel pump. Do I need a fuel filter?

I can do all six fuel lines into one fuel block and then to the fuel pump. Do I need a fuel filter? Fuel filter before the fuel block/log. There's a few good pics in this link that might be helpful... www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/eelco-6x2-fuel-block-mounting.393048/

I would use the smaller line to feed the carbs from the fuel block and the bigger line from fuel pump to filter to fuel block. Basically reverse the sizes you used the first time lol. Just keep in mind on a 1:1 there would also be throttle linkage running down the driver's side of all carbs as well as the fuel lines. I hope this helps!

Looks sweet man, I do believe that stance is perfect!! And those chrome steelies are the freakin BOMB!! I just love these for some reason. I gotta buy some of these from you, and learn to do that alcad stuff.
How do you polish that PE stuff? I mean, it's so dam flimsy, when I tried using steel wool one time, all I kept doing was catching things and bending things. Is there a "particular" steel wool thingy you use?

Thanks Tom. I'd be happy to make you a copy of them. These came right from the repop of the 36 Ford so I avoided the Alclad work.
Some PE stuff is easier to polish thank others. For this one, if you notice the first two pics of the grille you can see where I put the tape. I taped it to my bench on all four sides before cutting it out. Then took my steel wool and rubbed up and down following the spokes on the grille. 2-3 minutes later, I added some steel polish and that was the end result. Will probably rub it some more once I glue it on.
The other thing is to fold your steel wool up tight so it doesn't have too many loose edges that will catch the PE parts. But I know what you mean. I folded up entire sets when I started to work with polishing PE parts.

I know I'm a little late to the party. I really like the color and engine work but I am curious about your alclad prep, why do you use the flat black? Shouldn't all you need is primer and gloss black? I have very little experience using it, so maybe I'm missing something?

That's a nice green for this and that grill will make it even better than it was already going to be!

Ok, I must have read it wrong, it said "primer, flat black, then gloss black". I took that to mean 3 coats.

No, you read right. I do 3 coats. For me it helps ensure full coverage. Light coats of each, all from Walmart spray cans. Then Alclad chrome with the airbrush. Theres no reason why you couldn't just use gloss black and the alcald only. These 3 coats for me allow me to sleep at night, knowing the chrome wont be less shiny on one side, etc.

Did the hood fit correctly before or was this the first time it's been on the car? The black and silver charger I built had a similar problem with the driveline, somehow everything fit where it was suppose to, but when you put the radiator the fan kept hitting the radiator. I ended up have to drill out the radiator almost all the way through to get it to fit. At least with that its more concealed. Is it possible that the grill is too wide compared to the stock one, causing it to stick out further?

Maybe the grille is a bit bigger. The hood fits perfectly. Because I had similar problems before, I have small rods that help lead it into place. Might have to remove the grille and use the kit supplied one.

Could the edges on the body be reshaped slightly to pull it back?

Paint looks great Joel! Is that grill made for the Revell kit? It doesn't look like it was designed for the AMT. If it was made for Revell that would be the problem, if I remember correctly it's 1/24 scale not 1/25 like the AMT.

I'm not sure I'd know how to do that Les.
That makes sense, Jesse. I got the same feedback in another forum. Ok. Will have to use the kit supplied one.

Thanks everyone. This ones coming along nicely. The interior won't be too detailed since you won't be able to see it much because of the chop.
