"Screw you guy's, i'll show you" !! as Bob peals off in a pathetic single wheel burnout, in his mom's wagon. (at least that is what he imagined it was .)
'I have to do something about this' Bob thought........so Bob made some calls, and landed a part time job at the local speed shop, as a 'run around boy' ,
only working for store credit, then got an early morning job at his uncles produce store, starting early enough so he could go to the speed shop if needed,
then picked up some work at the gas station at night, so now he had money, and credit at the speed shop, but no car........
One night at the gas station some old guy dropped in for fuel with an old ex-race Cuda on the trailer, "what ya doing with that" Bob asks,
"she's going out to the farm, she's done enough racing i think", "sell it to me" Bob find's him self blurting out, so they decided on a price,
and the old guy even dropped it home for Bob.
The old girl need a lot of love, and a drive line, so Bob set about working every hour either for the car, or on the car, but he was going to get it done, and show them ALL !!
After a lot of hours and $$$$$$, Bob now has a massive 610 CI Butler race engine, a sheet metal manifold, 2 sets of split Dominator carbs, 2 kits of NOS,
dyno'd at 1200hp with out the NOS, so it should get his street cred back ...
Painted in sinister black, with candy green roll cage and chassis bars, just to remind him, and everybody else about the Alfalfa "handle" he USED TO have....
