Was finally able to get to the post office to get my kit. Still really no clue what direction I'm going to take this build.

Great idea! Any flopper bodied car could be used and with a little cutting on the body to make it a little more fcunn car look...

I've got a funny car kit with bad decals so I'm really considering bashing that kit to build this thing.

couldn't you just move the front of the front wheelwells forward? or possibly just cut them strait across from the top? then you could slide the body back until the rears line-up.

Would it work if you stretch or move the rear arches back.

That does look cool,I would cut the frame up front and move the front axle.

I do believe that's what I'm going to try and do thank you for that idea Frank. I've got another funny car kit put together so I'm going to do some test fitting this weekend to see how it would look. But with the other funny car kit I will have a big blower coming through the hood.

Got home early today so I decided to do a little work on this build. Cut the frame down to fit the body also got her power plant put together. Do believe I will have to go without my hood lol.

I also need to figure out how to run my headers I don't think I will be able to just leave them how they come with the kit.

I think I figured out my headers lol going vertical with them since I can't run normal funny car headers where I had to move the engine so far forward they wouldn't clear the wheels.
