Hi all I dont know much about Heller but does anyone think they will ever release another 1/8 car with the same detail level as the traction avant, I paid 147 quid for that but would happily pay 200 for a new one (I've never built a pocher kit) but this must rival them for detail and parts at a quarter of the price, it is an incredible kit. I am going to get another. Have something totally different in mind for that one. How could I/We entice them to do another, I could think of loads Rolls, Jag, Aston, Bentley Imagine a 1/8 Bentley 4.5 supercharged (the airfix kit updated) oh my god I'm dribbling.

I have quite a few Heller kits and I love 'em. All fine kits. I also have the Fiat Messerwhatever that you have. I have the Pocher Rolls Royce also and ,trust me KP, nothing comes close to matching the Pocher for detail and parts. 3,000 parts in the Pocher mostly machined metal not cast metal. The engine alone is 500 parts all machined and it is complete inside and out. All it needs is gas and spark to run. But I'm with you on these other kits, they are just as good to me and the level of detail is excellent and I would be happy with any of them in place of the Pocher, AND I hope Heller makes many more highly detailed kits also. I just made a deal with a dealer friend and have acquired this kit. This should really interest you. I'm excited about getting it. I'm sure you know the level of detail in Model Factory Hiro kits is very high. I never thought I would own one. too pricey. But I had to have this one. www.hiroboy.com/19_Brough_Superior_SS100_Full_Detail_Multi_Media_Kit__PreOrder_Now--product--8981.html

I've not got much experience of heller kits only having built two and having one part built. I have found them to be better than italeri kits (comparing truck kits) The honda bike kit was pretty good, the truck trailer kit was decent but the renault 4cv I have in progress has funny plastic, being a lot softer than any other kits I have but it is easier to work with as its less susceptible to cracking if doing a lot of cutting and sanding. I would buy more of them if there was more cars in the range I like. Definitely getting another of the 4cv kits though as it may have funny plastic but the detail on it is pretty good.
