Hello. This is my first visit here. I am not quite sure what to do , but basically I will be 65 in February 2016, and started building models in 1958. I also worked in two hobby shops over the years, and thus had a mainline for my habit, at dealer cost, and acquired a lot of kits. When I needed a down payment for my house, I sold about half of them for 14 thousand...now those kits are worth ten times as much as i got for them, and I see those old kits on line every once in a while. Just to prove i am an incurable plastic junkie, i just dropped near 200 bones for the AMT 1964 Cutlass kit...just for the Judson blowers. Some of my kitbashed trucks cost over a hundred or more, but I can't stop. That 1960 Lincoln kit I saw for 225 bones interests me as well. My display area has nearly a thousand built examples, and there's another 800 or so in storage unbuilt...I raid the stash a lot so there's not many valuable kits there, but wait! In time, they too will be worth ten times what they are today. But I bought them to build them, so that is my quest, buil most of them before I die. But first, I must learn to use this site!!!! Welcome Bones! I will be 65 in January. I have about 800 kits as well and also intend to build everyone of them before I die so we have that in common. Looking forward to seeing more of your work and learning from you.

Hello sir. Welcome to the club. Sounds like you have tons of kits to build and it looks like you have way more than some of us here both built and unbuilt. Let us know if you have any questions on how to navigate or if you need to decide where to post something. Don't sell yourself short. You figured out where to post your intro. It's a great start. two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon
You'll love this place. The guys here are great, trust me. Cant wait to see your projects and favorite builds.
