Thanks to 60sera and the Oldsmobile question in the Trivia post, I have been doing research and came across this article.

I hear stories of guys who used to work in auto manufacturing and in R+D and built some amazing engines that were then scrapped for crazy reasons. I have heard stories of a guy who used to build engines for GM and one time they came up with a 6 cylinder engine that was making so much power the Corvette at the time look weak. Then the "Powers that Be" ordered the engine destroyed and never to be discussed again. There are stories like these all over the internet and I for one love reading about them.

I used some of it's facts for the W-43 Engine , that I put in my 50 Old's Build . And used the pictures for reference material.. A lot of cool articles in the Ole interweb for sure...
