I like the first pic, with the hubcaps, but I think the rims in the last pic, they may look pretty cool too. Maybe body color, with silver hubs and lug nuts? Depending on the body color of course. Gonna be another cooooool pickem-up-truck, that's for sure!

Looking good so far. That resin cab looks to be a lot better than the JF stuff I've seen.

Thanks Tom.
Pat - Definitely! I'll take Ron Cash over JF any day. JF bodies always require a lot of sanding because they are waaaay to thick...every single time. Ron Cash is almost a perfect drop in almost every time.

Fitted the front grill area. Also filling the gaps for the bumpers. No need for those. This styrene in the back and a couple of chunks too. Some putty should finish it off

Man really looks good, wish I could work with resin there are some really nice bodies out there X2 - Resin scares the you know what out of me! Expensive, and, well, definitely only for the PROS!!! But I do love watching Ice use and make these cool builds from it!

I like the fins, have you tried a 59 el camino tailgate with them? It might fit pretty well and give that full on custom look with less of the work

Thanks Tom. In my previous home I had done it in gray. Switched to red for this one. They can pretty much do it in almost any color since hey mix it for you when you buy it.

They mix it? Where are you getting yours - Home Depot? I was thinking / referring to one of those kits you see from time to time in like Autozone or something

I got both at lowes. If I remember correctly, that gray is the base color but if you look at the brochure they have there, there's a few other colors you can choose from. Does come in a kit. Paint and hardener, then a separate kit for the clear coat. Flakes are separate if you want them. Also come in a couple of colors. The drying time takes a bit but definitely worth it.
