I'm honking my horn here a little bit. A friend of mine in Michigan who belongs to a high level model car club posted my Mercedes build on his clubs FB page. I thought that was nice of him to do. www.facebook.com/groups/563573653719229/

Thanks Les. I wish I had taken better pictures now. I was so tired when I finished it.

Well it's given me an idea for a modern version Dennis, I've had a smer kit and a mercedes v12 sitting for ages and now I know what I want to do with them. Cheers mate

Cheers mate I have several Smer kits and although they don't always look so good in the box I think they can be made into very nice models. Who made the Mercedes kit you have. Was it Hawk?

It's a tamiya one I have, nice engine but I want to put a bbc in it. It's the kit from the lot I bought in January and most of my kits are 1/25 and me being me I don't like to mix scales anymore(except wheels)

I agree. Kits like that are difficult enough and with your skill and attention to detail, you Dennis, did a superb job. You should be proud. And remember it's never too late to take new pics. Pics are a good portion of showcasing your work.

Thanks Iceman, and you are right about the pictures. I have had to rebuild my workstation because I have outgrown it. It is pretty much finished now so I can get started on Davey and I think I will take better pictures and re-post them.

WOW Den!! I'm just how seeing this, very nice build man!! hand-clapping-smiley-emoticon Thank you Mike. There is a lot of the work in "Under Construction" and Finished Miscellaneous. Under the body are a lot of details. I'm glad you liked it.
