I have a kit of the old Batmobile from the 1989 Keaton Batman movies. I am torn as to painting it. Would you guys paint it classic Satin Black or I saw a red one that looked cool too.

That sounds like a cool project. Think about this: do you want to stick to its original version or will you be customizing anything else?
I personally like the original black. The red one makes it look like a clown car from certain angles IMO.

I didn't plan on any other custom touches, it will look like the original car. I always wanted to build one 1:1 scale with turbos where the machine guns are but this one will be box stock.

I agree with Ice - Batman cars should be satin black, or gloss black, "if you dare" LOL Gloss black requires A LOT of prep work, no doubt

As everyone here knows, I like movie cars and I'm always striving to get the details just right. Therefore my obvious choice would be satin black. my2ยข.
