Just like the real thing in the night, the WIP's came and went in flash. Like a dark shadow, mesmerized us all. two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon This is one crazy cool car Alan, just glad you didn't take pictures with mirrors, would not be able to see it!!! cant-believe-my-eyes-smiley-emoticon Awesome work man, so clean, beautiful paint, ridiculously awesome!! smileyCA9464IN_zpsd9ee499f smileyCASHS601_zps1c54a9c5 All it is missing is the cape! This thing makes everything else BITE. Definitely a monster in the night with FANGS, too fast for any GARLIC to affect it! I would even STAKE my name that this is a winner!!! hand-clapping-smiley-emoticon hand-clapping-smiley-emoticon

This is a great build of ( from what I remember ) a tough build. I built the set years ago and had so much trouble with warp and fit that I almost gave up. This is truly an excellent build of this kit ! High Five !!

Thanks DC! Thanks GB! They must have addressed the wrap problems David. The frame only had a little minor warp that was easily straightened .

Thanks Dennis! It was an enjoyable kit. The only advice I would vive to anyone wanting to build one is to cut the steering linkage where it goes through the body. the instructions has the body and steering linkage all going together at the same time which would be nearly impossible to assemble correctly. by cutting the linkage just inside the body allows you to assemble the cockpit with the steering wheel and gear box, let it dry then add the body and assemble the rest of the linkage from the outside.

I am glad you told me this. I have the double kit of this and the Munster coach in the tin box. When I get around to building it I'll be in touch for more pointers.
