Just wanted to post this and get some opinions. Its done with rattle cans. Testors Lacquer. I started with primer, then a coat of white. Next was to paint the car with a thin coat of gold. Then i painted the bottom of the car with some green. One last coat of gold on the top half lightly and letting the paint overspary down the sides to blend the gold with the green. Last was to paint the rocker tZ28 trim silver. Just wanted some opinions on the paint job as im just starting to once again experiment with stuff I did a long time ago and future builds will be getting different custom painting tricks I used before. Thanks, Chas.

Pretty darn good fade from a rattle can !! Usually you can't get a nice transition w/ cans, well done.

A very nice nice fade job. two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon I believe with the silver along the bottom , though, it detracts from your fade work. I think if you did your green a touch darker where you have the silver ( just continue the green ,eliminate the silver) it would really compliment the fade work off. That is just my 2 centavos...

Thanks for the positive input. I agree on the silver on the rockers. This was just for giggles. Truth is this body has no other parts. I just used it to test. Maybe someday I will find a use for it. I think I need to invest in an airbrush so I can really get creative. Rattle cans are very limited. I have done fades from top to bottom and front to back with decent results. Just like to find ways to be creative. Thanks again for the kind words guys. It means alot!
