Here is my latest find in the junk yard of plastic. A 1932 Ford Roaster. Body is a little rusty and a few holes but useable. Sporting a Buick 401 nailhead with 3 stromberg carbs, straight zoomy headers, set of cheater pie crust slicks and to give it a little class. A mercedes grille bar on the front.

Man I am loving this. That backdrop looks amazing also. Have more pics of that? Maybe for the diorama section? Great job on finishing this one on time for the MOTM!

Sweet little Rat there JM. I love the Merc bumper that's classic every Rat needs a special part thrown in. I saw a real one that used Barbed Wire for the front grill it was WILD!! I hope ya didn't have ta skin a real rat for the seats Ha !

Thanks Skip. That is the look of speed. When they get ya that feeling sitting still.. Paperback, The rust was done with rusted up steel wool powder.. Ever leave steel wool sit on the sink back and see the rust stain it leaves. Do that but only in a container.. Use the rust it makes with dull coat as a glue. I will try to do a step by step if time is on my side. Or look at you tube..

Not a problem. Will still do a small how to on rust. It is easy to do and how much real could it be but actual rust..
