I use mine for everything it's more like what I don't use it for plus it's great when you slip and grind down your finger nails. Just dont polish it gets hot ot fast and melts things. Like paint

Yep, I use mine on my toenails too ! Type 2 diabetic, no neuropathy as of yet.

In the 80's I made a career out of using one in the Car Audio / Alarm business. (great for grinding plastic dash pieces) For models, everything involving plastic modification. But no polishing ! Even my 4000 series will burn though plastic on the lowest speeds .
