Wow guys, that's a nice idea! I did get it to set back a bit but I might have to try that. Thanks for the support everyone.

Had a bit of a setback today. The painting didn't go as planned so now its going into the purple pool. Had some positives as far as suspension but this puts a damper on finishing by next week. Because this will be part of a special collection I'm not going to rush things.

If not you can still enter it in a future bracket race. Hope to see it finished regaurdless!

I'm curious, whats the purple stuff ? I've always used Easy Off oven cleaner or even Simple Green to strip paint.

Took me a while to find purple power. I finally found it at the local hardware store. I prefer it to the other options I've tried.

Even though I'll be moving this post I'll keep updating. I changed the rear axle I'm using because I now have extra time. I fabbed the coil overs and think they came out pretty well. I used cut aluminum tubing for the eyelets and attached them with epoxy. The hold is pretty strong. I have to fab some perches because they are outboard of the frame. Then the hard part, attaching the rods to the frame. This is the first time I've tried this so I'll take any advice you care to give.
