There was some talk a while back about doing sports themed builds. I picked up a kit that I had started last year but never finished because I didn't know what color to paint it. I decided to do a San Francisco Giants truck but would like to put the SF logo on the doors. I found fingernail waterslide decals but don't know if that would be big enough. Has anyone tried these or should I step up and be the guinea pig?

They work ok, they are pretty tiny though. I got my wife some one time, (they were Iowa Hawkeye ones), and when they came in the mail, I was like - hey, I can make these. So that's what I started to do for her. But they do work in a pinch if you do not want the hassle of making, sizing, printing, spraying etc. I do know, if you get the ones with the white backing paper, you will still need to trim as close to the decal as you can, and when they are this tiny...... Well, lets just say a free self manicure will probably also happen! LOL

I am not against making my own decals. Ill look around here to see if someone has done a tutorial about making decals.

I might have to make one of those one day for everyone here. It's really not that hard. I wish I had one of those fancy dancy ALPS printers, those are what the pro's use! I just use my everyday ink jet printer, but I try to stick with using the clear background decal paper, and a white background to apply them to.
I do believe one of the members here has an ALPS printer:
