not sure iceman. im considering shaving the trim off and drilling mounting holes like the 1:1 would have. if i shave the trim it'll be flat black or maybe red primer, if i leave the trim i'm thinking factory red and white paint job.

I like the flat color idea. And I would say if the 1:1 car has it, you should add it to this one. Those little details are what helps these car look even better.

Sure looks like you're putting a lot of work in this build, but its getting there. Gonna be one boss looking '57 for sure though. Looking good.

Whoa. It feels like I'm reading this thread backwards. I thought you already had the chassis for this one.

i did have the chassis...it just finally made it to primered status and now i've GOT to address some of the obvious and visible gaps n such with putty. and the original springs...well...let's just say i'm not sure what happened there but they didn't match at all.

got some assembly done on the cage but its a lilbit tight fit in spots this here isn't a big deal cuz i wasn't gonna use the rear glass anyway and now i'd like some opinions on seating options #1 #2 #3 #4

I'd go with #2 or #3. Definitely not #4. Looking good. Is the cage going to be a problem for the windshield? Looks like a very tight fit

I like #3 too. Just like how many licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, 3, crunch!, 3 licks to the center of a Tootsie Pop. OK, I'm going now.
