This one was interesting, in much the same was as banging your own toes with a hammer is interesting. I bought it out of curiosity, never having seen or heard of Pyro kits before. The copyright date on the model is 1957, and there's no way to know how old the kit itself is. I don't know if it's typical of older kits, but there's not much detail and some of the parts fit very badly. I almost gave up on a few times. The clear parts in the pre-primer pics are parts that I removed the old chrome from. I guess they didn't bother putting pigment in the plastic that got chromed. On the plus side I think I managed an OK finish on it. My favorite part is the dash gauges. I lucked out and found a photo of the real dash and printed those out. Love the car, not so much this kit. Lindbergh makes a Cord that looks much nicer...I plan on getting one of those down the road so I can have a decent Cord in my collection. Thanks for looking.

Turned out nice looking, even if it was a P.I.T.A

It may be a undetailed kit but you got a clean build out of it

This turned out nice Sidney. Good job on the interior. I have the big 1/8 version of this car but I can't build it until I have a place to put it made.

Nice job on this one Sidney. So much sunshine. I've seen the Lindberg Cord. Never put one of these together though. But a Pyro kit? Kudos to you for working on such an old kit.
